When Forgiveness is Not Enough - PDF
t’s commonly believed that once we forgive someone, everything is good. Often, that is not the case. It would be great if forgiveness was a 'cure-all', but it's not in many cases.
When there are emotional things [wounding, anger, disappointment, etc.] that are connected to what we're forgiving, those things need to be addressed for our forgiveness to be a complete package.
As we forgive, if we continue to carry anger, resentment, etc., saying the words to forgive doesn't always automatically remove our heart issues that are still painful. That's when forgiveness is not enough.
